Description

Available are AWG suction strainers with and without non-return valve and drain arrangement.
We recommend generally suction strainers with non-return valve and drain arrangement in order to prevent discountinuities in the liquid column when the suction process is interrupted and makes it possible to fill the suction pipe run. Pulling the rope of the drain arrangement causes the check valve to open and to drain the suction hose.

S p e c i f i c a t i o n

AWG Divider are used for distributing the extinguishing medium from one feed line over several hose lines, or in special cases for collecting it in the reverse direction.
Each hose line can be shut-off individually by means of a stop valve.
The stop valve of the dividers must be according to DIN 14365 easily operated in the usual flow direction at 16 bar and in the opposite direction at 6 bar.
Allows smooth opening and closing and can be used as a regulating element.
Body made of aluminium alloy
Bonnets made of aluminium alloy, spindle and disc made of brass.
Inlet-outlet without caps and chain.

Specification

Water jet spray with water curtain to protect fireman when holding the nozzles (branchpipes) against heat and smoke, a water curtain can be added to the full and spray jet.
The water curtain element is arranged annularly behind the nozzle. By means of an adjusting ring which can be turned easily, also under pressure, the outlet angle can be varied between 0° and 160°.
In moments of danger the entire water flow can be shut-off with a single motion, irrespective of whether the full jet or spray jet had been selected and independently of setting of the water curtain.
Pipe, nozzle and tip made of aluminium alloy, ball in cold and impact resistant Polyamide.
The flow rate at 6 bar is 130-230 l/min depending on the diameter and jet of the nozzle tip. Flow rate with water curtain 290-400 l/min.
With spray angle of 15-20°, with water curtain up to 160°.
Except as noted otherwise the admissible working pressure is PN16 and adapters are made of aluminium.
