A wide variety of application options make the proven APF 2-HH an all-rounder.
It can be used permanently mounted as a roof monitor or in the portable design for mobile applications.
The continuously adjustable hand lever, as well as the simple push-in connection, which connects the basic unit and the base frame are designed for simple handling.
Both the basic unit and the base frame can be folded up with one hand for saving space.
The APF 2-HH is ready for use with only a short set-up time despite the compact transport position.
Special supporting feet on the base frame provide additional stability in use.

The foam inductors are designed to feed foam concentrates at a set mixing rate into the hose line. Inductors are placed in the delivery line between the pump and the foam nozzle and can be used for medium- and also for heavy foam nozzles. The injector system creates a vacuum in the body of the inductor and the foam concentrate is picked up via a suction hose ND 19 with a Storz 25-D coupling. At the foam inlet Storz 25-D adapters are generally mounted. A mixing rate between 0% and 6% is possible.

  • AWG Foam Nozzle is the air aspirating design makes the heavy foam nozzles suitable for use with all low expansion foam concentrates; protein, fluoroprotein, AFFF, and AR-AFFF.
  • The nozzle shall be constructed of light weight materials with pipe nozzle in stainless steel, protection ring and handle in rubber and ball valve shut-off in aluminium alloy.
  • Recommended working pressure at the inlet is 3-5 bar.

A water shield/ water wall is a spray of water that acts as a barrier the fire protection and shielding to shield personnel and equipment against radiant heat, harmful gases, and flames.
To build up large water veils or a water wall, to protect against gases, smoke, to cool objects. In use the unit is firmly pressed to the ground by water pressure and is therefore working without manpower. Several units can be linked up for wide water screen.

Specification

  • Water jet spray with water curtain to protect fireman when holding the nozzles (branchpipes) against heat and smoke, a water curtain can be added to the full and spray jet.
  • The water curtain element is arranged annularly behind the nozzle. By means of an adjusting ring which can be turned easily, also under pressure, the outlet angle can be varied between 0° and 160°.
  • In moments of danger the entire water flow can be shut-off with a single motion, irrespective of whether the full jet or spray jet had been selected and independently of setting of the water curtain.
  • Pipe, nozzle and tip made of aluminium alloy, ball in cold and impact resistant Polyamide.
  • The flow rate at 6 bar is 130-230 l/min depending on the diameter and jet of the nozzle tip. Flow rate with water curtain 290-400 l/min.
