STHAMEX®-AFFF 6% F-5 (#4603)
STHAMEX AFFF 6% F-5 is a synthetic, aqueous film-forming fire-extinguishing foam concentrate based on surface-active agents.

Applications:
Used at 6% concentration and applied with all standard low expansion foam equipment and fixed foam installations especially for class B fires.
The non-aspirated solution of STHAMEX®-AFFF 6% F-5 can be applied using water monitors, water sprinklers or deluge systems.
STHAMEX®-AFFF 6% F-5 is used in petrochemical industries, on airports and in on- and offshore areas.
Seawater, brackish water and treated industrial water do not affect the outstanding fire performance.

Limitations:
STHAMEX®-AFFF 6% F-5 is not suitable for use on polar solvents, such as alcohols.

Shelf Life:
STHAMEX®-AFFF 6% F-5 has a shelf life of >10 years, if stored according to our recommendations (see technical info leaflet TM014 ‘Storage of Synthe-tic Fire Extinguishing Foam Concentrates’).

Packaging:
STHAMEX®-AFFF 6% F-5 is available in jerrycans, plastic drums, pallet containers (totes).

Approval:
STHAMEX®-AFFF 6% F-5 is a type approved fire extinguishing agent for class B fires according to the following standards:

STHAMEX®-AFFF 3% F-15 is a synthetic, aqueous film forming fire extinguishing foam concentrate, based on surface active agents. It is designed for use at a 3% concentration and applied with all standard low, medium, and high expansion foam equipment and fixed foam installations especially for class B fires.
